Up for sale is a Drag Specialties piston set, part number 750701 (full number 750701-BX-LB1 / DS-750701), for the Harley-Davidson 74 cubic inch / 1200cc big twin engine. This is a complete pair — front and rear pistons.
Specs:
- 3.447" bore — 3-7/16" standard at +0.010" oversize (common first rebore)
- 8.5:1 high compression — a mild performance step up over stock
- Set includes both pistons, both wrist pins, circlips, and both ring sets (still sealed in the original wax-paper packets, marked F and R), plus the factory ring-installation instruction sheet
Fitment: Harley-Davidson Big Twin, 1948–1980 — Panhead and Shovelhead FL/FLH (Hydra-Glide, Duo-Glide, Electra Glide) as well as Super Glide and Low Rider models. Please verify your engine has been (or will be) bored to +0.010" before purchasing.
Condition: New old stock. These have never been installed — skirts are clean and the rings remain factory-sealed. As is normal for aged NOS aluminum pistons, there is some light surface oxidation/storage staining around the ring lands. This is cosmetic shelf wear and does not affect use. The retail box shows age and shelf wear.
